I'm Kalie J, a 28-year-old writer in the Midwest. I write creative nonfiction exploring nature, family, childhood, and love—always circling back to self-discovery. My work has appeared in independent presses, and in 2022, I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

I also run The Paper Garden, a traveling collage booth that brings free art-making to festivals, parties, and community events. I provide the supplies—you create the art. No rules, just creative play.
